The journey full of answers Prologue*NISHIS POV*
The warm morningsun, shines on my face. I rub with my hands in my eyes and turn around one more time until I realize what day it is today. Suddenly I'm wide awake. I jump out of bed and walk to my half-packed bag.
"Let's see what else should I bring."
I say while check my list. I grab the rest from the list and put it in my bag.
"Nishi! Wake up! We'll leave in three hours!"
Screams Katana from her room.
"I'm already awake."
“Okay did you pack your bag? “
'Do you want to saddle Zaza before we have breakfast?'
“Okay, I will.”
I grab my backpack from my bed, walk to the living room and place it temporarily on the couch. I run out the door to the bison stables. I walk to the stable of Zaza and see her curled up like a ball lying in the straw.
I call to her. She looks up and once she saw me she gets up and jumps on me so i fall on the ground.
“Yes, you know what day it is today, right? It's the day we start ou

Guided by the aftermath, she was always two steps behind.

Braved the heaviest of storms,
yet skipping over cracks in the pavement.
They said her eyes were the wisps of clouds before the storm.
To him they were reflections of pages overlooked.
She said it was like she lived the life of someone she had never met.
Laid out to dry, yesterdays news.
He knew her as the girl who was built to never collapse.
He wished he was too.
He loved her more than words could say, and yet her pain was such,
that at times, he feared she wouldn’t make it.
But on nights like these, even when it threatened to consume her,
he became convinced that somehow she would.
